About Wirebound Labs

SaaS and platform engineering with decades behind it—direct access, no theater. Also: incurably curious about how a home should feel when the tech finally gets out of the way.

Background

Wirebound Labs is my consulting practice for teams that need serious software judgment—multi-tenant SaaS, careful API design, fine-grained and relationship-based authorization (FGA-style models, ReBAC thinking, policy that stays understandable as the domain grows), integrations, and the operational habits that keep releases boring in the right way.

I have spent decades in engineering leadership and hands-on delivery: shaping products, reviewing risk, writing code when that is what moves the needle, and leaving behind patterns your team can own. Off the clock, I am an unapologetic home automation nerd—lighting scenes, door locks, whole-home audio, the whole rabbit hole—because calm, reliable systems at home scratch the same itch as well-built software at work. The public face of this site is SaaS consulting; the obsession with how things ought to feel when they are done right is the same either way.
